Our school is situated in the same grounds as St Augustine’s Church, within the Parish of Christ the King and Our Lady of Lourdes.
In 1979, St Augustine’s Church was opened to meet the growing parish which surrounded it to promote a more fitting place to celebrate the Word of God.
Our children regularly attend Mass on Wednesdays, which can be viewed on the church webcam, and each year group take turns to lead, preparing readings, bidding prayers and the offertory. Mass is also celebrated at 10:30 am on Sundays.
In May 2021, we celebrated 50 years since our school opened. We created a time capsule of all the things we thought someone in the future would like to learn. We then buried it in our Peace Prayer Garden. Hopefully, at our centenary celebrations, our time capsule will be unearthed.
