Eco-Team

Our Eco-Team is made up of children from across the school. We meet up regularly to discuss ways that we can promote environmental sustainability within the school and its community by implementing eco-friendly practices, reducing waste and energy consumption, increasing biodiversity, and fostering environmental awareness amongst pupils, staff and parents. Our team is part of the Holy Cross MAC Sustainability Team.

Liturgy Team

Our School Liturgy Team has a valued and active role in the prayer and liturgical life of St. Augustine’s. Through the team, pupils are given meaningful opportunities to grow as confident leaders of prayer, leading prayer sessions, participating actively in whole-school worship and helping to prepare and lead prayer and liturgy across the school. They work alongside staff to reflect on the quality and impact of these experiences, sharing their ideas and contributing to the continued development of opportunities for prayer and worship within our school community. Through their enthusiasm, example and service, our chaplains encourage others to participate with reverence and joy, helping prayer to be meaningful for all and inspiring our community to listen to God’s call, learn from God’s Word and share God’s love through service.

SCHOOL Council

The School Council represents the views of pupils across St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School. Council members listen to ideas and concerns from their classmates, work with staff to improve school life, and help promote our Catholic values. Through leadership, teamwork and service, the School Council encourages pupils to take responsibility, make a positive contribution to the school community and help make our school an even better place for everyone.
